Homecoming at LSU

How 'bout dem Tigers?????? In one of the most outstanding games in all aspects, offense, defense, special teams, our LSU Tigers showed that they have been underrated, while primarily underachieving, and as a result, have moved back into the BCS Bowl picture with our 24-21 win over defending national champions, Alabama. A packed Death Valley was still celebrating in the stands long after the final whistle. With a little help from GA and AL against Auburn, the SEC Championship could be a possibility. But first we have to avoid playing to the level of our competition and not take UL Monroe for granted.

Halloween is past and it's time for our Tigers to roar! Bama come calling this Saturday in Tiger Stadium with a 2:30 PM kick off. Plan to make your home away from home at our watch locations if you're not in Baton Rouge. Feel the spirit along with other rabid LSU faithful and cheer us on to a BCS Bowl. This is the most important month in the schedule and we need your support! Come join with us.

LSU vs Auburn

Who would have thought that our Tigers would be 7-0 and in the BCS picture at this time? Both Tigers, Auburn and LSU, are trying to separate from the Western Conference pack before they go into the home stretch of their respective seasons. And neither can afford a loss with bama (left small on purpose) and their single loss looming ahead. To win Saturday, LSU needs to drop the vanilla offense and play with the same reckless abandon that the defense is noted for. Watch how the trick plays are brought to the fore again this week, even trickier than those against FL or McNeese!

How 'bout them Tigers???? We finally got a complete game from our offense and defense, with only 2 minor faux pas' from the special teams, and 6-0 and bowl eligible at mid season looks better than years past. Now if we just don't play to the level of our competition this weekend.

LSU vs. Florida

We take it all back. There IS such a thing as a bad win!!!! The last time we saw such astute clock management was in last year’s Ole Miss game and we all know how that turned out. But 5-0 with 3-0 in conference play can’t be sneezed at so let’s go on to Saturday’s game in Gainesville. And you’ve got to believe that Florida is chaffing for the humbling that Bama applied last Saturday night.
