| Busy Month Ahead! |

Summer activity is right around the corner! Now that schools are out and summer is only days away, we can look forward to our Alumni activities beginning this weekend. The 3rd Annual Crawfish for the Kids is Saturday and for those of us who love mudbugs and enjoy participating in a most worthy cause, this is for you. Our Dallas chapter has been one of the largest organizations to support two things that are near and dear to us- needy kids and succulent crawfish. You can get information by accessing the following link, (put in the link I sent you today.) Like our Annual Crawfish Boil, it's a win-win proposition and we hope that you can attend. If you are looking for some great fried fish, our Fort Worth brethren, the Tarrant Tigers, will be holding their Annual Fish Fry on Saturday June 26th. Be sure to check out their website at www.lsutarranttigers.org for online registration and more information. This month's SEC Mixer is being hosted by Kentucky on June 17th at the Stadium Cafe in Addison. Be sure to join us as our conference stays together! With all that is happening in Conferences around the country, our SEC tee was prophetic when we highlighted that it was the "Biggest 12!" Heck, we may be the only 12 before the end of the month!!!! You can get your SEC and Alumni Tees at our Happy Hour on the 30th or online via our website. Both are being closed out at $15 each. As has been our custom, we hold a Happy Hour at each of our watch locations during the summer. And to introduce the newest of our watch party family, Press Box Grill, we'll kick off the first of 3 on Wednesday, June 30th, beginning at 6 PM. Let's check out Press Box and show them what they have to look forward to in the Fall. Press Box is located at Elm & Ervay and directions can be located by accessing their icon. We'll have less than 65 days to football season on the 30th so come to meet new friends and renew old acquaintances. Let's have a huge turnout to validate Press Box's confidence in our Dallas Chapter. Last but not the least, a major change in membership began in May. Each of our members who joined after June 1st last year have received a replacement membership card with an expiration month. Our new membership policy is that instead of 5/1-4/30, new memberships are 12 months from the date of application. So if your membership has lapsed, you can renew on line or with mail in application on our website. Remember- both individual and family memberships are now available for $25 and $35 respectively. Both family members receive cards. And with only $18K needed to completely endow our 4th Top 100 Scholarship, you are helping us to assist Texas students who want to enjoy the LSU experience in a meaningful way. You'll be hearing more in future updates. Thanks for your continuing support. We are over 200 strong as of this writing.
