LSU vs McNeese State
How 'bout them Tigers???? We finally got a complete game from our offense and defense, with only 2 minor faux pas' from the special teams, and 6-0 and bowl eligible at mid season looks better than years past. Now if we just don't play to the level of our competition this weekend.
The McNeese kickoff is set for 6 PM so plan to join us at one of our watch locations by 5:30 for good seats and let's take this to uncharted levels in the 21st century- 7-0! This is the annual Band Reunion night so if you are an LSU Fighting Tiger Marching Band alumnus, bring pictures to our watch parties and show us your comrades and yourself in your finest attire. You made us proud, let us return the honor!

Please join us on Monday, October 25, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. for our LSU on the GEAUX program. You and your parents will be given the opportunity to interact with representatives from various LSU departments, as well as current LSU students. This informal program will be held in the McGonigle Theatre at Bishop Lynch High School, located at 9750 Ferguson Road in Dallas. We look forward to meeting you and sharing the many opportunities that await you at LSU! Students can register at www.lsu.edu/dallas.
Recruiting is a year round effort for LSU and our DFW alumni. Next week we'll spotlight the DFW students who earned honors as sophomores in the Honors College this past spring. But before that plan to join us at Bishop Lynch HS as we introduce more top students to what LSU has to offer them.
Thanks for the 382 members including the 150 new members who have supported our Dallas Chapter with your membership this year. You have allowed us to contribute over $6500 to scholarships for DFW students. If you haven't joined or if your membership has lapsed, now is the best time to join. You get the discounts of membership and we come closer to completing the endowment of our 4th LSUAA scholarship. You can find information on our website under membership. Your support is gratefully appreciated!
Don't forget that the following Saturday game against Auburn will be a 2:30 kickoff so make plans to pack the watch locations as 2 potential undefeated teams clash for supremacy in the Western Conference of the SEC.
