Membership Update 10/1/09

The Kardiac Kids are back! Remember 2007? All our gray hairs and higher blood pressure wasn't caused by significant others and kids alone. This year's version of our Tigers has picked up the mantle and we can only hope that the end results are as gratifying.

If you missed seeing Saturday's game at Starkville, you missed one of the greatest goal line stands in modern years for our LSU Tigers. Someone said that afternoon that they only bow their necks when our opponent gets in the red zone and Saturday's climax was no exception. First and goal inside the five. Four plays later, we took over inside the one! If that wasn't enough, it all took place inside the last 2 minutes of the game. Probably not enough time to get into position for a field goal to win. Yet win we did!

If that game isn't enough for you, and we certainly hope not, then you're going to love Saturday's game between the hedges in Athens against the Georgia Dawgs. Rankings means little 4 games into the season but we'll find out what this band of road warriors are made of in our hump game of a 5 road schedule this season. They'll need all the support that we can muster and if you're not making the trip to be there in person, take advantage of the next best thing- our watch parties at 2:30 PM on Saturday afternoon. Both Fox & Hound and Sherlock's are gearin' up for big crowds and you don't want to miss it. Our numbers have grown steadily with each game and this is the most important game of the early season for us. (They're all important! This one just keeps us atop the Western Conference in our March to the Dome in Dec.)

We're receiving a shipment hopefully this week and can supply all sizes by this coming weekend as well as mail to those who cannot attend. All proceeds go to scholarships.
